CodeBox is Cal Poly's premier computer science club where students collaborate on real-world projects, learn cutting-edge technologies, and build experience for their careers. We focus on turning ideas into actual products while fostering a supportive community of developers.

To join CodeBox, simply fill out our application form by clicking the 'Apply Now' button. We welcome students from all skill levels and backgrounds. After applying, you'll be invited to our onboarding process where you can learn about current projects and find your place in the community.

We work on a diverse range of projects including web applications, mobile apps, AI/ML projects, open-source contributions, and innovative tech solutions. Our projects range from beginner-friendly contributions to advanced full-stack applications, ensuring there's something for everyone.

Not at all! CodeBox welcomes members of all skill levels. Whether you're a complete beginner or an experienced developer, there's a place for you. We have mentorship programs and beginner-friendly projects to help you learn and grow alongside experienced members.

The time commitment is flexible and depends on your availability and the projects you choose to work on. Most members contribute 3-5 hours per week, but you can participate as much or as little as your schedule allows. Quality contributions matter more than quantity.

We use a wide variety of modern technologies including React, Next.js, Node.js, Python, TypeScript, various databases, cloud services, and AI/ML frameworks. The specific technologies depend on the project, and we're always exploring new tools and frameworks.
